General terms and conditions of sale

It is agreed that if the tenant cancels more than one month before the start of the lease, the tenant loses the down payments.

For cancellations less than one month before the start of the lease, the tenant will also be required to pay the difference between any advance payments and the total rent as a penalty.

You are required to occupy the premises yourself and keep them in good order. All the amenities are in working order and any complaint relating to them received more than 24 hours after entry into the premises will not be accepted. Repairs resulting from negligence or poor maintenance during the rental period will be charged to the tenant. The general peace and quiet of the neighbourhood must not be disturbed by tenants or their family around the rental property and in the common areas.

The premises are rented furnished with kitchen equipment, crockery, glassware, blankets and pillows. A €150 deposit must be paid on arrival. The deposit must be paid by cheque, credit card or in cash. It will be returned on the day you leave, except in the event of a dispute.

When the tenant leaves, the owner or his/her representative may, if applicable, ask the tenant to pay for: The cost of cleaning according to the number of hours of work required to prepare the gite for the following tenants; the total value of the replacement of objects, furniture or equipment broken, cracked, chipped or damaged and any wear deemed to be excessive in relation to the rental period, the cost of cleaning blankets which have been returned soiled, an allowance for damage of any kind to the curtains, paintings, ceilings, carpets, floors, windows, bedding, garden and outdoor areas.

The tenant undertakes to take out insurance against rental risks (fire, water damage). In the event of a claim, the absence of insurance will result in the payment of damages.

The owner undertakes to insure the accommodation against rental risks on behalf of the tenant with the latter being obliged to inform the lessor of any damage to the accommodation, its outbuildings or accessories within 24 hours.
